In the Footsteps of the Alchemists

This self-guided tour follows the travels of two Tudor alchemists in Bohemia - Elizabeth I's alchemist Dr John Dee and the less reputable Edward Kelly. The two men were welcomed to the court of Emperor Rudolf II at Prague, and later moved to Trebon in the South Bohemian lakes.

This tour can be designed for people interested in the history of the period or for youngsters who love Harry Potter or both!  The family version is called In Search of the Philosopher's Stone. The South Bohemian lakes area is known for its natural history (especially birdlife) and easy cycling trails.

The tour combines stays in Prague and South Bohemia.
